Ingredients

For Pav Bhaji

2 large Carrot, peeled, roughly dice, गाजर

1 cup Cauliflower florets, फूलगोभी

2 medium size Potatoes, peeled, diced, आलू

2 tbsp Butter, cubed, मक्खन

1 medium size Capsicum, roughly cut, शिमला मिर्च

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 ½ tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

A pinch of asafoetida, हींग

2-3 cups Water, पानी

 

For Tempering

2-3 tbsp Butter, cubed, मक्खन

1 tbsp Oil, तेल

2 medium size Onions, finely chopped, प्याज

2-3 Green chillies, chopped  (less spicy) हरी मिर्च

½ tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट

3 medium size Tomatoes, finely chopped, टमाटर

1 medium size Capsicum, finely chopped, शिमला मिर्च

1 heaped tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala, पाव भाजी मसाला

1 ½ tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

Boiled & mashed vegetables, उबली सब्जियाँ

2 cups Water, पानी

½ tbsp Pav bhaji masala, पाव भाजी मसाला

2 tbsp Butter, cubed, मक्खन

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

 

For Assembling

5-6 Bread slice, ब्रेड

Prepared Pav Bhaji, तैयार की हुई पाव भाजी

Pizza cheese blend, चीज

½ tbsp Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता

2-3 tbsp Butter, मक्खन

 

For Garnish

Mayonnaise, मायोनिज

Onion, finely chopped, प्याज

Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

Tomato, finely chopped, टमाटर

Prepared Pav Bhaji, तैयार की हुई पाव भाजी

Lemon wedge, नींबू की फांक

Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता

Process

For Pav Bhaji

  • In a pressure cooker, Add carrot, french beans, cauliflower, potatoes, butter and saute it well.
  • Add degi red chili powder, pinch of asafoetida and saute it well.
  • Now add water and cover it with a lid and take 3 to 4 whistles.
  • Once the bhaji gets cooked nicely then mashed the bhaji with the help of bhaji masher.
  • Keep it aside for further use.

 

For Tempering

  • In a shallow pan, add butter, oil, onions and saute well.
  • Add green chili, ginger garlic paste and saute it well and add tomato, capsicum and saute it nicely.
  • Add pav bhaji masala, degi red chili powder and saute for 10 seconds.
  • Now add prepared mashed bhaji, once again pav bhaji masala and butter, salt to taste and mix it well.
  • Once the bhaji gets cooked well. Place into the bread, add cheese, coriander leaves and cover it with another slice of bread.
  • Apply butter on the top of the bread and Prepare waffle place into waffle toaster and toast till nice crisp texture on it.
  • Switch off the flame, remove the waffle, cut into the middle.

 

For Assembling

  • Serve into the serving plate, garnish with mayonnaise, onion rings, prepared bhaji, lemon wedge, chopped onion, tomato and coriander sprig.
