Ingredients
For Chicken Marination
1 kg Chicken Thighs, चिकन
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
1 tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 heaped tbsp Degi Red Chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 tsp Garam Masala powder, गरम मसाला पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 tsp Mustard oil, सरसों का तेल
1 tsp Fennel powder, सौंफ पाउडर
1 tsp Dried Ginger powder, सौंठ का पाउडर
¼ cup Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च
1-2 tbsp Rice flour, चावल का आटा
Little water, थोड़ा पानी
For Frying Chicken,
Oil for frying, तलने के लिए तेल
Marinated Chicken, मैरिनेटेड चिकन
For Onion Tomato Salad
1-2 large Onions (sliced), प्याज
1 tbsp Tender Coriander stems (finely chopped), धनिया के डंठल
1 tbsp Vinegar,सिरका
2-4 no. Green Chillies (less spicy & roughly chopped), हरी मिर्च
1 large Tomato (sliced), टमाटर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
½ tbsp Degi Red Chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 tsp Fennel powder, सौंफ पाउडर
1 tsp Dried Ginger powder, सौंठ का पाउडर
1 tsp Mint leaves (roughly torn), पुदीने का पत्ता
1-2 tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
1-2 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves (roughly chopped), धनिया पत्ता
2-3 no. Garlic cloves (sliced), लहसुन
For Chicken Kaanti
Remaining Oil, बचा हुआ तेल
Prepared Onion Tomato Salad, तैयार किया हुआ प्याज टमाटर का सलाद
1-2 tsp Tomato Ketchup, टमाटर केचप
Fried Chicken, तला हुआ चिकन
1-2 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves (roughly chopped), धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Chicken Marination
- In a bowl, add chicken, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, degi red chilli powder, garam masala powder.
- Add salt to taste, mustard oil, fennel powder, dried ginger powder, cornstarch, rice flour, little water and marinate well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Frying Chicken
- In a kadai, add oil for frying. Once it’s hot, add marinated chicken pieces and fry them until otis cooked.
- Transfer it into the absorbent sheet and keep it aside for further use.
For Onion Tomato Tomato Salad
- In a bowl, add onions, tender coriander stems, vinegar, green chillies, tomato, salt to taste.
- Add degi red chilli powder, fennel powder, dried ginger powder, mint leaves, coriander powder, fresh coriander leaves, garlic and give it a good mix.
For Chicken Kaanti
- In a wok or kadai, add remaining oil, once it’s hot, add prepared onion tomato salad and cook for 4-5 minutes on high flames.
- Add tomato ketchup, fried chicken, give it a good mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Finish it with fresh coriander leaves and give it a good mix.
- Transfer it into the serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot.
