Homemade sweets are the main highlight of any festival, especially Diwali :) And with Milkmaid on hand, making any 'challenging' mithai is easy-peasy, lemon squeezy (Check the video to see what I mean :) )

For Coconut Mawa
350 ml Milk, दूध
½ tin Nestlé MILKMAID, नेस्ले मिल्कमेड
Rice Flour Mixture, चावल के आटे का मिश्रण
1 cup Dessicated coconut, नारियल का बुरादा
1 tsp Ghee, घी
For Rice Flour Mixture
½ cup Rice flour, चावल का आटा
1 tbsp Milk,दूध
1 tbsp Water, पानी
Other Ingredients
½ tbsp Beetroot puree, चुकंदर प्यूरी
½ tbsp Pista puree, पिस्ता प्यूरी
1 tsp Saffron water, केसर का पानी
½ cup Red colored Desiccated coconut, लाल रंग का नारियल का बुरादा
½ cup Yellow colored Desiccated coconut, पीले रंग का नारियल का बुरादा
½ cup Green colored Desiccated coconut, हरे रंग का नारियल का बुरादा
For Garnish
Silver vark, चांदी का वर्क
Chocolate, sprinkler, चॉकलेट, स्प्रिंकलर्स
Process
For Coconut Mawa
- In a sauce pot, add milk, give it a boil, add nestle milkmaid, rice flour mixture and mix well.
- Add desiccated coconut and cook for 4-5 minutes until it leaves the pan.
For Rice Flour Mixture
- In a bowl, add rice flour, milk, water and mix well.
- Keep aside for further use.
For Shaping the Phuljhari
- Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add the color of the choice.
- Let it cool to room temperature and make lemon sized balls, give them the desired shape or shape them into phuljhari.
- Transfer it onto a serving dish and coat it with colored dessicated coconut and garnish it with silver vark or chocolate sprinkler. Allow it to set.
- Arrange them nicely on a serving platter
