
Ingredients
3 cups Rose syrup, रोज सिरप
A pinch of salt, नमक
¼ cup Ghee, घी
1 cup Corn starch, कॉर्न स्टार्च
1 ½ cups Water, पानी
¼ cup Ghee, घी
¾ cups Mixed Nuts, blanched, chopped (almonds, cashew nut, pistachios) नट्स
Ghee, for greasing, घी
For Garnish
Pistachios, blanched, chopped, पिस्ता
fresh Rose petals, गुलाब की पंखुड़ियां
Process
- In a large bowl, add rose syrup, a pinch of salt.
- Add ghee, cornstarch, water and whisk it well.
- Transfer this mixture into a large kadai and keep stirring constantly.
- Cook on medium flame, add ghee and mix until it’s well absorbed completely.
- Add mixed nuts and mix it well.
- Make sure everything is well combined.
- Transfer the halwa into the greased tray and level it up.
- Rest for 30 minutes or until the halwa is set completely.
- Finally, cut the rose halwa into pieces.
- Garnish it with pistachios, rose petals and serve.
