Raw Mango and Prawn Curry कच्चे आम और झींगा करी Recipe - Ranveer Brar


For Prawn marinade

2 Cups Prawns, de veined

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

2 tbsp Red Chili Powder

2 tbsp Ginger Garlic

2 Lemon wedges

For Curry

3 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Mustard seeds

1 tbsp Ginger, julienne

1 tbsp Green chilies, chopped

1 Cup Onion, sliced

6-7 Curry leaves

Salt, to taste

1 Cup Coconut milk

3 tbsp Raw Mango, cubed


  • For prawns marinade, combine all the ingredients and coat the prawns with marinade very well. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, when they splutter add ginger and green chilies and saute for few seconds.
  • Add onion and curry leaves, cook till translucent. Add salt and coconut milk and mix well.
  • Add marinated prawns, raw mango and mix well. Cover and cook for 10mins or till prawns are cooked. Serve hot with rice.


  1. Idea of Mango is excellent. The sourness. I used a semi ripe mango. So got the sourness and the mango flavour.
