Ingredients
For Boiling Chicken
Water as required, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
3-4 no. Garlic cloves (with skin & crushed) लहसुन
1 kg Chicken, चिकन
2 no. Black cardamom, बड़ी इलायची
2 tsp Black peppercorns, काली मिर्च के दाने
3 no. Bay leaf, तेज़ पत्ता
For Boiling Cashew Nuts
Water as required, पानी
½ cup Cashew Nuts, काजू
For Boiling Mushroom
Water as required, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
500 gms Mushrooms (trim tail & cut into halves) मशरूम
For Paste
Boiled cashew nuts, उबले हुए काजू
1 ½ cups Milk, दूध
For Creamy Garlic Chicken
1-2 tbsp Oil, तेल
7-8 no. Garlic cloves, crushed, लहसुन
2 tbsp Butter, cubed, मक्खन
Little water, पानी
1 no. Black cardamom, crushed, बड़ी इलायची
Prepared paste, तैयार किया हुआ पेस्ट
2 tbsp Butter, मक्खन
½ cup Water, पानी
Boiled mushrooms, उबले हुए मशरूम
Boiled chicken, उबला हुआ चिकन
¾ cup Fresh cream, ताज़ा मलाई
Little water, पानी
Prepared tadka, तैयार किया हुआ तड़का
For Tadka
2 tbsp Oil, तेल
7-8 no. Garlic cloves, chopped, लहसुन
3-4 no. dry Kashmiri red chillies (deseed & chopped) सूखी कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च
2-3 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, roughly chopped, धनिया पत्ता
1 tbsp Butter, cubed, मक्खन
1-2 tsp Lemon juice, नींबू का रस
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Boiling Chicken
- In a handi, add water as required, salt to taste, garlic, chicken, black cardamom, black peppercorns, bay leaf and let it boil for 7-8 minutes until half cooked.
- Strain the chicken and transfer it to a tray.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Boiling Cashew Nuts
- In a pan, add water, cashew and boil it for 3-4 minutes.
- Strain the cashews and keep it aside for further use.
For Boiling Mushroom
- In a handi, add water, mushrooms and boil it for 2-3 minutes on high flames.
- Strain the mushroom and keep it aside for further use.
For Paste
- In a mixer grinder, add boiled cashews, milk and make a smooth paste.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Creamy Garlic Chicken
- In a kadhai, add oil, once it’s hot, add garlic cloves , butter and saute it for a minute until translucent.
- Add water, black cardamom, cashew paste and simmer it for a while on medium flames.
- Add butter, water, boiled mushroom, boiled chicken, fresh cream and simmer it for 5-6 minutes until cooked well.
- Finish it with prepared tadka and mix it well.
- Transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti or rice.
For Tadka
- In a pan, add oil, once it’s hot, add garlic cloves and saute it until golden in colour.
- Add dry kashmiri red chillies, coriander leaves, butter and saute it for a minute.
- Finish it with lemon juice and keep it aside for further use.
