Ingredients

For Batter

2 cups Gram flour, बेसन

3 tbsp Semolina, सूजी

¼ tsp Black salt, काला नमक

¼ tsp Carom seeds, अजवाइन

1 tsp Baking soda, बेकिंग सोडा

1 tsp Oil, तेल

1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट

1 tbsp Saffron water, केसर का पानी

½ cup Curd, beaten, दही

Water, पानी

Salt to taste, नमक स्वाद अनुसार

1 ½ tsp Oil, तेल

 

For Onion Chili Cheela

A ladle full of Prepared Batter, तैयार किया हुआ मिश्रन

1 tbsp Onion, finely chopped, प्याज

A pinch of chili flakes, चिली फ्लेक्स

few Spring onion, chopped, हरी प्याज

¼ tsp Oil, तेल

 

For Cheese Cheela

A ladle full of Prepared Batter, तैयार किया हुआ मिश्रन

½ tsp Oil, तेल

¼ cup Processed cheese, grated, चीज

1 tbsp Tomato, chopped, टमाटर

few Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

1 tsp Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

 

For Threaded Cheela

A ladle full of Prepared Batter, तैयार किया हुआ मिश्रन

Chili flakes, चिली फ्लेक्स

few Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

Mayonnaise, मेयोनेज़

1 tsp Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

 

For Cheela Sandwich

A ladle full of Prepared Batter, तैयार किया हुआ मिश्रन

1 small Tomato, sliced, टमाटर

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

few Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

½ tsp Oil, तेल

2 tsp Green chutney, हरी चटनी

Processed cheese, grated, चीज

 

For Jini Dosa Style Cheela

A ladle full of Prepared Batter, तैयार किया हुआ मिश्रन

1 tsp Oil, तेल

1 tbsp Spring onion, chopped, हरी प्याज

1 tbsp Tomato, finely chopped, टमाटर

1 ½ tbsp Onion, chopped, प्याज

few Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

¼ cup Paneer, grated, पनीर

2 tbsp Processed cheese, grated, चीज

¼ tsp Chilli flakes, चिली फ्लेक्स

Mayonnaise, मेयोनेज़

1 tsp Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

1 tsp Green chutney, हरी चटनी

 

For Garnish

Processed cheese, grated, चीज

Spring onion, chopped, हरी प्याज

Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता

Process

For Batter

  • In a bowl, add gram flour, semolina, black salt, carom seeds, baking soda, oil, ginger garlic paste, saffron water, curd and mix it well.
  • Add water, salt to taste, oil and make a smooth batter.
  • Keep it aside for further use.

 

For Onion Chili Cheela

  • On a heated tawa, pour the batter into small batches.
  • Add onions, chili flakes, spring onion, drizzle some oil and cook it on both the sides on moderate heat.
  • Transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.

For Cheese Cheela

  • On a heated tawa, pour prepared batter, drizzle some oil, add cheese, tomato, coriander leaves, tomato ketchup and cook it for a minute.
  • Fold it from the middle and transfer it to a serving dish.
  • Garnish it with tomato wedges and coriander sprig.
  • Serve hot.

For Threaded Cheela

  • On a heated tawa, pour prepared mixture like thick thread or net, add chili flakes, coriander leaves and cook it on both the sides.
  • Fold it from the middle like roti or chapati.
  • Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and coriander sprig.
  • Serve hot.

 

For Cheela Sandwich

  • On a heated tawa, pour the prepared batter into small batches like pancakes, drizzle some oil, add tomato, salt to taste, coriander leaves and cook it on both the sides.
  • Add green chutney, cheese and place another cheela on top like a sandwich.
  • Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with cheese, spring onion and tomato ketchup.
  • Serve hot.

 

For Jini Dosa Style Cheela

  • On a heated tawa, pour the prepared batter and make a dosa, drizzle some ghee, add spring onion, tomato, onion, coriander leaves, paneer, cheese, chili flakes, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup green chutney and cook it for a minute.
  • Roll it and cut into four equal parts. Garnish it with mayonnaise, cheese and coriander sprig.
  • Serve hot.
