Ram Laddoo/Moong Dal Pakodi Chaat दिल्ली वाले मशहूर राम लड्डू Recipe - Ranveer Brar


For Pakode

2 cups Moong dal, soaked, मूंग दाल

1 cup Urad dal, soaked, उड़द दाल

½ cup Chana dal, soaked, चना दाल

½ inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक

2 Green chilli, chopped,  हरी मिर्च

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

¼ cup Radish leaves paste, मूली के पत्तों का पेस्ट

Oil for frying,  तेल

For Green Chutney

5-10 Radish leaves, मूली के पत्ते

½ inch Ginger, peeled, slice,अदरक

2 Green chilli, broken into half,  हरी मिर्च

½ cup Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता

¼ cup Mint leaves, पुदीने की पत्ता

Salt to taste,  नमक स्वादअनुसार

For Fresh Salad

1 medium size Radish, grated, मूली

2-3 Green chilli, finely chopped,  हरी मिर्च

1 tbsp Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

2 tbsp Radish leaves, shredded, मूली के पत्ते

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ lemon juice, नींबू का रस

For Garnish

Curd, beaten, दही

Green chutney, हरी चटनी

Tamarind chutney, इमली की चटनी

Pomegranate pearl, अनार के दाने


For Pakode

  • In a large bowl, add soaked moong dal, urad dal, chana dal, ginger, green chilli.
  • Transfer this into the grinder and grind into smooth batter.
  • Transfer this mixture into the large bowl.
  • Add salt to taste, and beat the mixture well until air is incorporated.
  • Add radish leaves paste and mix it well.
  • Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame.
  • Once the oil is medium hot drop the pakode one by one into the oil.
  • Once the pakoda is slightly golden in color and cooked from inside.
  • Drain on a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
  • Garnish it with curd, green chutney, tamarind chutney and pomegranate pearl.

For Green Chutney

  • In a bowl, add radish leaves, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt to taste.
  • Transfer it into a grinder and grind it into smooth paste.
  • Transfer it into a bowl and keep it aside for future use.

For Fresh Salad

  • In a bowl, add grated radish, green chilli, coriander leaves, radish leaves, salt to taste.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well. Keep aside for future use.
