
Ingredients
For paneer bhurji
200 Grams Paneer, crumbled, पनीर
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 tbsp Butter, मक्खन
½ tsp Cumin Seeds, जीरा
2 tsp Ginger, finely chopped, अदरक
1- 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped, हरी मिर्च
1 Onions, finely chopped, प्याज
1 Tomatoes, finely chopped, टमाटर
Salt to Taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, हल्दी पाउडर
½ tsp Red Chili Powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर
¼ tsp Garam Masala Powder, गरम मसाला पाउडर
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ती
For the Sandwich
8 to 10 slices of Brown Bread or White Bread, ब्रेड
Butter as Required, मक्खन
Process
Paneer bhurji
- Heat a pan, add oil, butter in it then add cumin seeds saute on a low flame till they crackle.
- Now add ginger saute ginger for a minute on low flame, till the raw smell vanishes from the ginger.
- Add onions and green chilies and saute till onion becomes translucent.
- Sprinkle salt as per taste.
- Add tomato stir and saute for a minute. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and garam masala mix well.
- Saute the tomatoes for 2 to 3 minutes, until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the crumbled paneer, stir and mix well. Cook for 1 to 2 mins on low heat.
- Switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves. Stir all nicely.
- Remove the paneer bhurji in a bowl and place aside. Allow it to cool at room temperature.
Making paneer bhurji toast sandwiches
- Apply a generous amount of butter to the bread.
- Add a spoonful of paneer bhurji mixture on the buttered bread. Spread mixture evenly on all sides with the help of a spatula or back of a spoon.
- Cover with another slice of bread.
- Place the sandwiches in a grill pan and grilled for 2 to 3 mins or until they look golden brown and crisp. Similarly grill from both sides and rest of sandwiches.
- Slice the sandwiches, apply some butter over them. Serve paneer bhurji sandwich with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
