
Ingredients
2 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 Large Onion, chopped, प्याज
2 Garlic Cloves, chopped, लहसुन
½ tsp Black Pepper Powder, काली मिर्च पाउडर
1 tsp Cumin Powder, जीरा पाउडर
½ tsp Salt to Taste, नमक स्वादानुसार
1 tbsp Tomato Paste, टमाटर का पेस्ट
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 cup Masoor Dal, soaked, मसूर दाल
1 Large Carrot, chopped, गाजर
2 cups Vegetable Stock, वेजिटेबल स्टॉक
1 cup Hot Water, पानी
3 tbsp Lime Juice, नींबू का रस
½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder, जीरा पाउडर
2 tbsps Coriander Leaves, chopped, धनिया
Process
- In a kadai, heat oil add onion and sauté till translucent. Add garlic and sauté till golden brown.
- Add cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt to taste and mix well.
- Add tomato paste, red chilli powder, masoor dal and sauté well.
- Add carrot, vegetable stock mix well, add 2 cup hot water.
- Cover with the lid and cook for 30 minutes.
- Blend the mixture, add lime juice, roasted cumin powder and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
