Ingredients:
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 inch ginger, cut into strips
2-3 green chilies, slit
1 cup kulith/kulthi/kulath dal, boiled (Horse Gram)
1 tbsp pomegranate seeds powder (dissolved in water)
Garnish:
Coriander leaves and onion rings
Process
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger and green chilies.
- When they release aroma, add the boiled kulith dal. Cover-cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Now add salt and pomegranate seeds powder. Cover and cook again until it turns soft.
- Remove and serve hot with rice or roti.
