Dragon Chili Chicken होटल जैसा ड्रैगन चिकन spicy Chicken dry

For Sauce

3 heaped tbsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

1 tbsp Vinegar, सिरका

2 tbsp Oil, तेल

3-4 Garlic cloves, peeled लहसुन

½ inch Ginger (peeled as roughly chopped) अदरक

1 ½ tbsp light Soy sauce, सोया सॉस

1 tbsp Tender Coriander stems, roughly chopped, धनिया के डंठल

½ cup Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

1 ½ cup Water, पानी

¼  tsp Sugar, चीनी


For Chicken Marination

900 grm Chicken breast, cut in strips,चिकन

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

2 no. whole Eggs, अंडे

½ tsp White pepper powder, सफेद मिर्च पाउडर

⅓ cup Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च

1 tsp Baking soda, बेकिंग सोडा

1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट

¼  cup Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च

2 tsp Oil, तेल


Oil for frying, तेल तलने के लिए


For Dragon Sauce

2 cups Prepared Cooked Sauce, तैयार किया हुआ सॉस

1 tbsp light Soy sauce, सोया सॉस

1 tbsp Tomato ketchup, टोमेटो केचप

½ cup Water, पानी

½ tsp Sugar, चीनी

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 ½ tsp Cornstarch slurry, कॉर्नस्टार्च का घोल



For Dragon Chicken

2 tsp Oil, तेल

2-4 no. Garlic clove, chopped, लहसुन

2 inch Ginger (peeled & chopped) अदरक

2 medium Onion, diced, प्याज

1 large Capsicum, batons, शिमला मिर्च

1 medium Red bell pepper, batons, लाल शिमला मिर्च

⅓ cup Prepared Sauce, तैयार किया हुआ  सॉस

¼ cup Spring onions, chopped, हरी प्याज

Fried Chicken, तले हुए चिकन स्ट्रिप्स


For Garnish

Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता

Spring onion, हरी प्याज


For Sauce

  • In a bowl, add degi red chili powder, vinegar, oil, garlic cloves, ginger, light soy sauce, tender coriander stems, tomato ketchup, water, sugar and mix it well.
  • Transfer it to a kadai and simmer it for 8-10 minutes until semi thick consistency.
  • Blend it with the help of a hand blender and keep it aside for further use.

For Chicken Marination

  • In a bowl, add chicken breast, salt to taste, eggs, white pepper powder, cornstarch, baking soda, ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
  • Keep it aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add cornstarch, oil and mix it well.
  • In a kadai, heat oil, add marinated chicken and fry until half done.
  • Transfer it to an absorbent sheet and keep it aside for further use.
  • Refry the chicken until crispy and golden in color.
  • Keep it aside for further use.


For Dragon Sauce

  • In a bowl, add prepared sauce, light soy sauce, tomato ketchup, water, sugar, salt to taste, cornstarch slurry and mix it well.
  • Keep it aside for further use.


For Dragon Chicken

  • In a wok or a kadai, add oil, once it’s hot, add garlic, ginger and saute for a minute.
  • Add onion, capsicum, red bell pepper and toss it for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  • Add prepared dragon sauce, spring onions and cook it well.
  • Add fried chicken and toss it well.
  • Finish it with some spring onions and transfer it to a serving dish.
  • Garnish it with coriander sprig and spring onion.
  • Serve hot.
