
Ingredients
4-5 leftover Chapatis (बची हुई रोटी)
Thick Maida slurry (मैदे का गाढ़ा लिजाम)
For Samosa Filling
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
½ tsp Cumin Seeds (जीरा)
¼ tsp Fennel seeds (सौंफ)
1 inch Ginger – chopped (अदरक)
1 fresh Green Chilli – chopped (ताजी हरी मिर्च)
¼ tsp Asafoetida (हींग)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
½ tsp Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर)
2-3 medium Potatoes – boiled & diced (आलू)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
For Garnish
Fresh Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्ता)
Process
For Samosa Filling
- In a hot pan add oil, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, ginger, green chillies, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix everything properly, switch off the flames and add the boiled potatoes salt and mix it properly and mash it little. Keep aside for further use.
For Chapati Samosa
- Take the leftover chapatis and cut in half.
- Now take one half of the chapati and apply the maida slurry to the straight end of it and make a cone shaped by sticking it .
- Now add the filling in it and again apply the maida slurry to the open ends and close it properly and add a clove in it to keep it together.
- Fry in medium hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- Serving hot
