Strawberry jam स्ट्राबेरी जैम Recipe - Ranveer Brar


  • 750 grams Strawberry, hulled & chopped, स्ट्रॉबेरी2-3 Cloves, लॉन्ग1 inch Cinnamon Stick, दालचीनी

    1 Star Anise, चक्र फूल

    2-4 Black peppercorns, काली मिर्च के दाने

    ¼ inch Ginger, slice, अदरक

    ½ cup Water, पानी

    A pinch of salt, नमक

    ½ cup Sugar, चीनी

    1 tbsp Lime Juice, नींबू का रस


  • In a large kadai, add strawberry, clove, cinnamon, star anise, black peppercorns.
  • Add ginger and mix it well. Cook on medium flame. Add water, cover it with the lid and cook until the strawberry turns soft and mushy.
  • Add a pinch of salt, sugar and keep the flame on medium, stir well till the sugar dissolves.
  • Now add lime juice to prevent sugar from crystallizing.
  • Stir well and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Keep stirring occasionally to prevent the burning of strawberries.
  • Continue to boil for another 10 minutes or till the strawberry turns soft.
  • Mash the strawberry well and till you get smooth consistency.
  • Cook on medium flame till the mixture thickens and the foams disappear completely.
  • Transfer the jam into a glass jar and cool completely.
  • Finally, spread strawberry jam over bread / chapati and enjoy.
