Raw Banana Kofta व्रत Spl मलाई कोफ़्ता कच्चे केले ka Kofta No Onion/Garlic

Ingredients
For Cooking Banana
Water as required, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
5 no. Raw banana (with skin) कच्चा केला
For Kofta Mixture
10-12 no. Cashew nuts, chopped, काजू
10-12 no. Raisins, chopped, किशमिश
4 no. Green chillies, chopped, हरी मिर्च
1 inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) अदरक
2-3 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
Cooked bananas (peeled & mashed) पके हुए केले
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 tbsp Sama chawal (soaked for ½ hr) भीगे हुए समा चावल
For Paste
10-12 no. Cashew nuts, काजू
2-3 heaped tbsp Curd, beaten, दही
For Gravy
2-3 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
2 no. Green chillies, cut into halves, हरी मिर्च
½ inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) अदरक
2 tbsp Tender Coriander stems, finely chopped, धनिये के डंठल
2 cups Curd, beaten, दही
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
Prepared paste, तैयार किया हुआ पेस्ट
1 tsp Sugar, चीनी
1 cup Water, पानी
½ tbsp Ghee, घी
Other Ingredients
Oil for frying, तलने के लिए तेल
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Chilli oil, मिर्च का तेल
Process
For Cooking Banana
- In a pressure cooker, add water as required, raw banana, salt to taste and mix it well.
- Cover it with a lid and cook it for 2-3 whistles until cooked.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Kofta Mixture
- In a bowl, add cashew nuts, raisins, ginger, green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, cooked bananas, salt to taste, soaked sama chawal and mix it well.
- Divide the mixture into small lemon size balls and make it into a desired shape.
- Heat oil in a kadhai, drop koftas in oil and cook it until golden in colour.
- Transfer it to an absorbent sheet and keep it aside for further use.
For Paste
- In a bowl, add cashewnuts, curd, transfer it into a mixer grinder jar and grind it into a fine paste.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Gravy
- In a handi, add oil, once it’s hot, add cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, tender coriander stems and saute it for a minute.
- Add curd, salt to taste and saute it for 7-8 minutes until oil separates from the gravy.
- Add prepared paste, sugar, water and let it simmer for a while.
- Finish it with ghee and mix it well.
- Transfer it to a serving dish, add fried koftas, garnish it with coriander sprig and chilli oil.
- Serve hot with sama chawal.
