Bachelor’s Chicken Curry बैचलर चिकन करी Recipe - Ranveer Brar


  • 1 tbsp olive oil/vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 inches cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1-cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic-ginger, crushed
  • 1-cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 500 gms chicken (curry cut with bones)
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • ½ tbsp. coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Handful coriander leaves, chopped to garnish


  • Heat oil in a pan, when the oil gets hot add cumin, cloves and cinnamon, sauté till fragrant.
  • Add onion and let it sweat, add garlic and continue to cook.
  • Add turmeric, red chili, coriander and cumin powder. Mix well.
  • Now add the chicken and mix well. Then add tomatoes, salt and little bit water, cover and cook.
  • Check the seasoning and the doneness of the chicken, it should be tender.
  • Let the gravy reduce if you want a thick gravy.
  • Serve hot.
