Aloo Tamatar sabji आलू टमाटर प्याज सब्जी सिर्फ 3 चीज़ों से Cooker Aloo Sabji
It can't get more basic than this!! This Aloo sabji is the SIMPLEST you can find and cook!
Ingredients
For Aloo Pyaz Tamatar Ki Sabji
¼ cup Mustard oil, सरसों का तेल
½ tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
½ tsp Fennel seeds, सौंफ़
½ tsp small Mustard seeds, छोटी राई
7-8 no. Black peppercorns, काली मिर्च के दाने
A pinch of asafoetida, हींग
3 medium Onions, roughly diced, प्याज
3 medium Tomatoes, roughly chopped, टमाटर
1 heaped tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 heaped tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
6 medium Potatoes (peeled & cut into diced) आलू
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 cups Water, पानी
Prepared Tadka, तैयार किया हुआ तड़का
2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
For Tadka
2-3 tbsp Ghee, घी
3-4 no. dry Red chillies, सूखी लाल मिर्च
1 large Tomato, cut into diced, टमाटर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Aloo Pyaz Tamatar Ki Sabji
- In a pressure cooker, add mustard oil, once it’s smoky hot, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, small mustard seeds, black peppercorns and let it splutter well.
- Add a pinch of asafoetida, onions and cook for a while.
- Add tomatoes and cook it for a while, add degi red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, potatoes, salt to taste, water and give it a good mix.
- Cover it with the lid and pressure cook it for 1-2 whistles or until cooked well.
- Finish it with prepared tadka, fresh coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti.
For Tadka
- In a pan, add ghee, once it’s hot, add dry red chillies and fry them for a while.
- Add tomato, salt to taste and toss them for a minute.
- Keep it aside for further use
