Hostel/Bachelors spl Dum Anda Curry आसान दम अंडा करी spicy Egg Curry Masala
Bet you anything, this Egg recipe is so simple, it's a special treat for hostelers/ Bachelors :) Anyone can make this spicy, simple Egg/Anda Curry :)
Ingredients
For Dum Ka Anda Curry
1 ½ cups Curd, beaten, दही
2 tbsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 heaped tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
2 heaped tbsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
2-3 no. Green chillies (less spicy & cut into diagonally) हरी मिर्च
1 tbsp Tender Coriander stems, finely chopped, धनिये के डंठल
½ cup Fried onions (optional) तले हुए प्याज
1 tbsp Ghee, घी
8-10 no. Boiled eggs, उबले हुए अंडे
1 tsp Kewra water (optional) केवड़ा जल
1 tsp Rose water (optional) गुलाब जल
1 ½ cup Hot Water, गरम पानी
2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, roughly chopped, धनिया पत्ता
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Dum Ka Anda Curry
- In a bowl, add curd, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, tender coriander stems, fried onions, ghee and give it a good mix.
- Add boiled eggs, kewra water, rose water and mix it well.
- Transfer it to a handi, place the handi on the gas and cook it for 12-15 minutes low to medium flames.
- Add water to adjust the consistency and give it a quick boil.
- Finish it with fresh coriander leaves and give it a good mix.
- Transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti or paratha.
