Ingredients
For Kaju Katli Base
2-3 tbsp Ghee
1 kg chilled Cashew nuts, paste
1 ½ tin Nestlé MILKMAID
For Shahi Kaju Katli
Prepared kaju katli mixture
¼ cup Rose syrup
1 ¼ cup Desiccated coconut
For Garnish
Silver vark
Golden vark
Pistachios, chopped
fresh Rose petals
Process
For Kaju Katli Base
- In a non-stick pan or wok, add ghee, once it’s hot, add cashew nuts paste and cook it for a while until it’s cooked well or until doughy consistency.
- Add Nestlé MILKMAID and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture in a greased tray and spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours until set well.
For Shahi Kaju katli
- In a non-stick kadai, add prepared kaju katli mixture, rose syrup, desiccated coconut and give it a good mix.
- Cook it for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
- Transfer the mixture in a greased tray and spread it evenly.
- Garnish it with silver vark, golden wark and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to set well.
- Demold the mixture and cut in any desired shape.
- Transfer it to a serving platter, garnish it with pistachios and fresh rose petals.
