Ingredients
For Dal:
¾ cup Black Daal, soaked
2 tbsp Chana Daal, soaked
2 tbsp Kidney Beans, soaked
3 tbsp Ghee
1 inches Ginger, finely chopped
4-5 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
3 Green Chillies, finely chopped
2 Onions, chopped
3 Tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
For Garnish
Fresh Cream
Coriander Sprig
Process
- Soak the Dal overnight
- Boil the Dal with Salt and turmeric powder in pressure cooker till mash consistency.
- Heat Ghee in a pan, add ginger, garlic, onions and green chillies. Saute till translucent.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Saute for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked dal on the masala and very little water if required. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot in a bowl. Garnish with fresh cream and coriander sprig.
