Ingredients

For Kaju Katli Base

2-3 tbsp Ghee

1 kg chilled Cashew nuts, paste

1 ½ tin Nestlé MILKMAID

 

For Shahi Kaju Katli

Prepared kaju katli mixture

¼ cup Rose syrup

1 ¼ cup Desiccated coconut

 

For Garnish

Silver vark

Golden vark

Pistachios, chopped

fresh Rose petals

Process

For Kaju Katli Base

  • In a non-stick pan or wok, add ghee, once it’s hot, add cashew nuts paste and cook it for a while until it’s cooked well or until doughy consistency.
  • Add Nestlé MILKMAID and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture in a greased tray and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours until set well.

 

For Shahi Kaju katli

  • In a non-stick kadai, add prepared kaju katli mixture, rose syrup, desiccated coconut and give it a good mix.
  • Cook it for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
  • Transfer the mixture in a greased tray and spread it evenly.
  • Garnish it with silver vark, golden wark and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to set well.
  • Demold the mixture and cut in any desired shape.
  • Transfer it to a serving platter, garnish it with pistachios and fresh rose petals.
