Beetroot & Banana Ketchup चुकंदर और केला केचप Recipe - Ranveer Brar


2 big Bananas – roughly chopped (केला)

4 medium Beetroots – roughly chopped (चुकंदर)

Water (पानी)

Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)

1 inch Ginger – roughly chopped (अदरक)

3-4 tbsp Vinegar (सिरका)

4-5 tbsp Sugar (चीनी)

12-15 Black Peppercorns (काली मिर्च के दाने)

¼ tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder (देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर)


  • In a pan add banana, beetroot, water, salt, ginger, vinegar, sugar, black pepper cons then cover and cook until the beetroot is completely cooked.
  • Once cooked, take a hand blender and blend it into a fine paste.
  • Now add more water, degi red chilli powder then boil it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the lid, stir it once then strain it properly through a strainer.
  • Then add back the strained mixture to the pan then add some water and give it a final boil.
  • Remove and let it cool down properly then store it in an airtight container.
