Chicken Chapli Kabab चिकन का चपली कबाब rustic Chapli Kebab

Chicken Chapli Kabab चिकन का चपली कबाब rustic Chapli Kebab Recipe - Ranveer Brar

Ingredients

For Kebab Mixture

1 kg Chicken mince, चिकन का कीमा

1 heaped tbsp Tender coriander stems, finely chopped, धनिये के डंठल

2 medium Onions, finely chopped, प्याज

1 large Tomato (seedless & finely chopped) टमाटर

3 no. Green chillies (less spicy & finely chopped) हरी मिर्च

1 inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) अदरक

2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, finely chopped, धनिया पत्ता

1 no. Whole egg, अंडा

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

4 no. Boiled Eggs, उबले हुए अंडे

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tbsp Gram flour, बेसन

 

For Onion Salad

1 large Onion, sliced, प्याज

1 tsp Roasted cumin, crushed, भुना हुआ जीरा

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tsp Lemon juice, नींबू का रस

½ tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

 

For Green Chutney

½ medium Onion, प्याज

4 no. Green chillies (less spicy & roughly chopped) हरी मिर्च

½ cup fresh Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता

¼ cup fresh Mint leaves, पुदीना पत्ता

2-3 tbsp Tamarind pulp, इमली का गूदा

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

1 inch Ginger (peeled & sliced) अदरक

 

Other Ingredients

Oil for shallow frying, तलने के लिए तेल

1 large Tomatoes, sliced, टमाटर

 

For Garnish

Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता

Pomegranate pearls, अनार के दाने

Process

For Kebab Mixture

  • In a bowl, add chicken mince, tender coriander stems, onions, tomato, green chillies, ginger, fresh coriander leaves, whole egg, salt to taste, boiled eggs, salt to taste, gram flour and give it a good mix.
  • Wet the hands with water, take a portion of prepared mixture, place the tomato slice on one side and give it the desired shape.
  • In a pan, add oil, once it’s hot, place prepared kebabs and cook it 4-5 minutes until golden in colour on both the sides.
  • Transfer it to a serving platter, garnish it with coriander sprig and pomegranate pearls.
  • Serve hot with prepared onion salad and green chutney.

For Onion salad

  • In a bowl, add onion, roasted cumin, salt to taste, lemon juice, degi red chili powder and give it a good mix.
  • Keep it aside for further use.

For Green Chutney

  • In a bowl, add onion, green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, fresh mint leaves, tamarind pulp, salt to taste, degi red chili powder, ginger and mix it well.
  • Transfer it to a mixer grinder jar and grind it into a smooth paste.
  • Keep it aside for further use.
