Ingredients

For Cooking Rice

2 cups Sella basmati rice, soaked for 20 minutes, सेला बासमती चावल

Water as required, पानी

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ tbsp Oil, तेल

 

For Street Style Fried Rice

1 tbsp Oil, तेल

2-4 Garlic cloves, chopped, लहसुन

½ inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक

2 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च

2 large Carrot, peeled, chopped, गाजर

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ tsp Sugar, चीनी

1 tbsp Dark soy sauce, सोया सॉस

Cooked Rice, पके हुए चावल

¼ inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक

1 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च

8-10 French beans, chopped, बीन्स

2 medium size Capsicum, chopped, शिमला मिर्च

1 ½ tsp Vinegar, सिरका

2 tsp Green chilli sauce, ग्रीन चिली सॉस (optional)

½ tsp White pepper powder, सफेद कालीमिर्च का पाउडर

¼ cup Spring onion, chopped, प्याज़ पत्ता

1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता

 

Process

For Cooking Rice

  • In a pot, add water for boiling, salt to taste, oil and let it boil.
  • Once the water starts boiling. Add soaked sella basmati rice and let it cook on medium heat until 70% cooked.
  • Once done, strain the rice and keep aside for further use.

 

For Street Style Fried Rice

  • Heat oil in a wok, once it’s hot, add garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute it well.
  • Add carrot, salt to taste, sugar, dark soy sauce and cook for 2-4 minutes.
  • Stir fry on high flame without overcooking vegetables.
  • Add cooked rice and saute it well. add ginger, green chilli and toss it well.
  • Stir-fry until the sauce is combined well.
  • Add french beans, capsicum, vinegar, green chilli sauce, white pepper powder and mix it well.
  • Now, add spring onion, coriander leaves and toss everything well.
  • Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
