2 cups Sella basmati rice, soaked for 20 minutes

8-10 French beans, chopped

1 ½ tbsp Oil
½ inch Ginger, chopped

2 Dry red chillies, broken into half
1 Star anise
1 medium size Yellow bell pepper, diced
1 medium size Red bell pepper, diced
½ small Carrot, cut diagonal
⅓ cup Cauliflower, medium size florets
⅓ cup Cabbage, diced
⅓ cup Paneer, cut into small cubes
Little water
2 heaped tsp Soy sauce
2 no Spring onion white part
1 tsp Green chilli sauce, (optional)
1 cup Water
Salt to taste
2 drop of Vinegar
½ tsp Sugar
1 tsp Ginger, finely chopped
2 tbsp Cornstarch slurry
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
¼ cup Spring onion, chopped

For Cooking Rice
- In a pot, add water for boiling, salt to taste, oil and let it boil.
- Once the water starts boiling. Add soaked sella basmati rice and let it cook on medium heat until 70% cooked.
- Once done, strain the rice and keep aside for further use.
For Restaurant Style Fried Rice
- Heat oil in a wok, once it’s hot, add ginger, garlic and saute it well.
- Add carrot, sweet corn, cabbage, ginger, green chilli,
- Stir fry on high flame without overcooking vegetables.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, white pepper powder, french beans and saute it well.
- Add cooked rice and saute it well. Add salt to taste, sugar, vinegar and toss it well.
- Now, add spring onion, sprinkle a little water. Cover it with the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- Toss everything well on high flame.
- Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.

- In a pot, add water for boiling, salt to taste, oil and let it boil.
- Once the water starts boiling. Add soaked sella basmati rice and let it cook on medium heat until 70% cooked.
- Once done, strain the rice and keep aside for further use.
For Pot Rice (Gravy)
- Heat oil in a wok, once it’s hot, add ginger, garlic and saute it well.
- Add onion, dry red chillies, star anise and saute well.
- Add one by one all the vegetables along with paneer and toss them well.
- Add a little water, soy sauce and mix well.
- Cover it with the lid and cook on medium flame until it boils.
- Add spring onion white part, green chilli sauce and mix well.
- Add water, salt to taste, vinegar, sugar, ginger, cornstarch slurry, toasted sesame oil mix well.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and vegetables are cooked.
- Now, add spring onion at the end.
- Add the cooked rice in a serving pot, pour the prepared gravy on top of it and serve hot.
