Ingredients
3 medium tomatoes/टमाटर
4-5 dry red chillies/सुखी लाल मिर्च
3 garlic cloves/लहसुन
½ tsp black pepper corns/काली मिर्च
1 tsp Szechuan peppercorns (Optional)/ शेज़वान
½ tsp sugar/शकर
Salt to taste/नमक स्वाद अनुसार
Process
- Add 3 cups of water in a pan add whole tomatoes, dry red chillies. Allow it to cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove tomatoes and red chillies from the water and transfer it to the blender, add garlic cloves, black pepper, sugar, Szechuan peppercorns, salt and blend to a smooth paste without adding water.
- Serve with momos. You can refrigerate this chutney for 3-4 days for later use.
