
Easy Cooker Mutton Curry आसान मटन करी कुकर में संडे Sunday Mutton recipe
We all have that one Sunday comfort dish that we look forward to, to cook and/or eat. This Mutton curry is my Sunday special..
Ingredients
For Paste
3 large Onions, sliced, प्याज
2 tbsp Coriander seeds, धनिया की बीज
1 tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
2 no. Cloves, लौंग
1 no. Black cardamom, बड़ी इलायची
2-3 no. Green cardamom, हरी इलायची
1 inch Cinnamon stick, दालचीनी
1 tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 ½ tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 inch Ginger, peeled & sliced, अदरक
4-5 no. Garlic cloves, लहसुन
2-3 no. Green chillies, हरी मिर्च
2-3 tbsp Oil, तेल
10-12 no. Black peppercorns, काली मिर्च के दाने
few Tender Coriander stem, धनिया के डंठल
For Mutton Marination
1 kg Mutton, with bones, मटन
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 ½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
½ tsp Black peppercorns, crushed, कुटी काली मिर्च
For Mutton Curry
2-4 tbsp Oil, तेल
2 no. Dry red chillies, सूखी लाल मिर्च
2-3 no. Cloves, लौंग
Marinated Mutton, मैरिनेटेड मटन
Prepared Paste, तैयार किया हुआ पेस्ट
2 tbsp Mustard oil, सरसों का तेल
1 ½ cups Curd, beaten, दही
1 ½ tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
For Pressure Cooking Mutton
1 ½ cup Water, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
Cooked Mutton, पका हुआ मटन
1 tbsp Prepared Sunday Masala, तैयार किया हुआ मसाला
1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
For Sunday Masala
1 ½ tbsp Black peppercorns, काली मिर्च के दाने
5-6 no. Black cardamom, बड़ी इलायची
2-4 no. Green cardamom, हरी इलायची
2-3 no. Cloves, लौंग
2 no. Mace, जावित्री
1 tsp Dry fenugreek leaves, कसूरी मेथी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Paste
- In a bowl, add onions, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, turmeric powder, degi red chili powder, salt to taste, ginger, garlic, green chili, oil, black peppercorns and coriander stems.
- Transfer it into a mixer grinder jar and grind into a smooth fine paste.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Mutton Marination
- In a bowl, add mutton, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste, black peppercorns and mix it well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Mutton Curry
- In a handi, heat oil, add dry red chilies, cloves and let it splutter.
- Add marinated mutton and sauté it for 5-6 minutes on medium flame.
- Add prepared paste and sauté it for a few minutes.
- Add mustard oil, curd and simmer it for a while until cooked well.
- Add coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Pressure Cooking Mutton
- In a pressure cooker, add water, salt to taste and get a quick boil.
- Add cooked mutton and cover it with a lid and cook it for 2-3 whistles on high flame.
- Add prepared masala and simmer for 4-5 minutes, add coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti.
For Masala
- In a pan, add black peppercorns, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, mace, dry fenugreek leaves, salt to taste and dry roast it for a minute.
- Transfer it into a mixer grinder jar and grind into fine powder.
- Keep it aside for further use.
