Best & Easy Paneer Recipe झटपट आसान तरी वाला पनीर Punjabi Tari wala Paneer

Ingredients
For Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste
3 no. Green chillies (less spicy & roughly chopped), हरी मिर्च
1 inch Ginger (peeled & roughly chopped), अदरक
3-4 no. Garlic cloves (roughly chopped), लहसुन
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Punjabi Style Tari Wala Paneer
2-3 tbsp Ghee, घी
A pinch of Fenugreek seeds, मेथी दाना
1 tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
Prepared Ginger Garlic Green Chilli paste, अदरक लहसुन हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट
1 no. each Black & Green Cardamom (crushed), बड़ी और हरी इलायची
1 tbsp Tender Coriander stems (finely chopped), धनिया के डंठल
2 medium Onions (grated), प्याज़
1 tbsp Ghee, घी
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 tbsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
1 tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 heaped tsp Degi Red Chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
Little Water, पानी
2-3 large Tomatoes (puree), टमाटर की प्यूरी
2 cups Hot Water, गर्म पानी
2 tbsp dry Fenugreek leaves (soaked) भिगोई हुई कसूरी मेथी
Paneer (soaked), भिगोया हुआ पनीर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Frying Paneer
Oil for frying, तलने के लिए तेल
800 gms Paneer (cut into medium size cubed), पनीर
For Soaking Paneer
Warm Water, गर्म पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
Fried Paneer, तला हुआ पनीर
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste
- In a mortar and pestle, add green chillies, ginger, garlic, salt to taste and grind it into the coarsely paste.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Punjabi Style Tari Wala Paneer
- In a handi, add ghee, once it’s hot, add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, prepared ginger garlic green chilli paste and saute for a minute.
- Add black & green cardamom, tender coriander stems, onion, ghee, oil and cook for 4-5 minutes until onion gets light golden in colour.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, degi red chili powder and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add little water, tomato puree and cook for another 4-5 minutes until oil separates from the masala.
- Now, add hot water, soaked dry fenugreek leaves, cover it with the lid and let it simmer for a while.
- Add soaked paneer, salt to taste and cook for 5-6 minutes or until it’s cooked.
- Transfer it into the serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti or naan.
For Frying Paneer
- In a pan, add oil for frying, once it’s hot, add paneer and fry them until light golden in colour.
- Transfer the paneer into the absorbent sheet and keep it aside for further use.
For Soaking Paneer
- In a bowl, add warm water, salt to taste and give it a good mix.
- Add fried paneer and leave it aside for a while until the paneer gets softs texture.
