For Marination
500 gms Mutton, curry cut
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 cup Yogurt
Salt to taste
Coriander Seeds
2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
For Gravy
1 tbsp Oil
2 Onions, sliced
Marinated Mutton
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Cumin powder
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 cup Yogurt
3 cups Lamb Stock
Coriander seeds
Chilli flakes
Fried onion
Coriander leaves
Process
- In a bowl, add mutton, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, salt, coriander seeds, red chilli powder and rub the marination properly, keep aside for further use.
- In a pan, add oil and onions, cook until they turn brown in colour.
- Then add the marinated mutton and cook until it releases the moisture.
- Now add all the spices and give them a good mix.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and yogurt and cook moisture is released.
- Once done, add lamb stock and cook through on a low flame.
- Garnish with crushed coriander seeds, chilli flakes, fried onion and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti or rice.
