
Ingredients
For Tandoori Mayonnaise
½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 tsp Oil, तेल
1 tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
A pinch of coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
¼ tsp Cumin powder, जीरा पाउडर
¼ tsp Garam masala, गरम मसाला
½ tsp Dry mango powder, अमचूर पाउडर
1 cup Mayonnaise, मेयोनिज
For Dough
2 cups Refined flour, मैदा
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 tsp Oil, तेल
1 cup Curd, beaten, दही
¼ cup Water, पानी
2 tsp Oil (after kneading) तेल
For Salad
2 medium Beetroot (peeled & batons) चुकंदर
1 no. Green chili (less spicy & sliced) हरी मिर्च
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 medium Onion, sliced, प्याज
2 tbsp Vinegar, सिरका
For Chicken Marination
2-4 no. Garlic cloves, grated, लहसुन
⅓ cup Hung curd, टंगा हुआ दही
¼ cup Mayonnaise, मेयोनिज
1 ½ tsp Oregano, ओरिगैनो
1 tsp Degi red chili powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
½ tbsp Lemon juice, नींबू का रस
300 gms Chicken breast, चिकन
For Sauteing Chicken
½ tbsp Oil, तेल
½ Onion, sliced, प्याज
Seared Chicken, cut into strips, भुना हुआ चिकन
2 tbsp Tandoori Mayonnaise, तंदूरी मेयोनिज
1 tbsp Coriander leaves, roughly torn, धनिया पत्ता
Other Ingredients
1 tsp Oil, तेल
¼ tsp white Sesame seeds, सफेद तिल
½ tsp Oil (for roasting roti) तेल
1 ½ tbsp Oil (for searing chicken) तेल
For Assembling
Prepared Roti, रोटी
1 tbsp Hung curd, टंगा हुआ दही
Tandoori Mayonnaise, तंदूरी मेयोनिज
Prepared Salad, कचुम्बर
Sauteed Chicken, पका हुआ चिकन
Process
For Tandoori Mayonnaise
- In a pan, add turmeric powder, oil and roast it for 10-15 seconds.
- Add degi red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and mix it well.
- Add dry mango powder and cook for a few seconds. Transfer it to a bowl, add mayonnaise and mix it well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Dough
- In a bowl, add refined flour, salt to taste, oil, curd, water and knead it into a semi soft dough.
- Apply oil and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes to rest.
- Divide the dough into lemon size balls, apply oil and flatten the dough with the help of a rolling pin.
- Make a semi thick roti and add white sesame seeds.
- In a tawa, heat oil, place prepared roti and cook it well on both the sides.
- Transfer it to a plate and keep it aside for further use.
For Salad
- In a bowl, add beetroot, green chilies, salt to taste, onion, vinegar and mix it well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Chicken Marination
- In a bowl, add garlic, hung curd, mayonnaise, oregano, degi red chili powder, salt to taste, lemon juice, chicken breast and mix it well.
- Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes to marinate.
For Sauteing Chicken
- In a grilled pan, heat oil, place marinated chicken and sear it for 5-6 minutes on both sides.
- Transfer it to a plate and cut the chicken into strips.
- In a pan, heat oil, add onion, seared chicken and sauté it for 5-6 minutes on high flame.
- Add tandoori mayonnaise, coriander leaves and toss it well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Assembling
- Take the prepared shawarma roti, apply hung curd, tandoori mayonnaise and spread evenly.
- Place prepared salad, sauteed chicken and roll it.
- Serve hot with prepared dip.
