
Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp black pepper
3-4 Cloves
1 stick of cinnamon
1 tbsp garlic chopped
1 medium sized onion chopped
½ cup masoor dal soaked
½ cup moong dal soaked
½ cup rice soaked
Salt to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
½ cup Curd
Water as required
Process
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add whole spices, garlic, onion and sauté on a medium to high flame. Then add both the soaked dals and rice.
- Continue to cook. Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chili powder. Cook over low flame and then add curd.
- Put the lid on and cook until 2 to 3 whistles. Let the cooker cool down.
- Serve hot.
