
Crispy Chicken Popcorn चिकन पॉपकॉर्न Spicy Chicken snack
Ingredients
For Marination
3 no Chicken breast, cut into small cubes, चिकन
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 ½ tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
¼ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
A pinch of asafoetida, हींग
1 tsp Vinegar, सिरका
1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
1 heaped tsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
1 Egg white, अंडा सफेद
1 tbsp Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च
For Coating
1 cup Cornflakes, crumble, कॉर्नफ्लेक्स
⅓ cup Bread crumb, ब्रेड क्रम्ब
Oil for frying, तेल तलने के लिए
For Dip
4-5 Garlic cloves, लहसुन
1 Green chilli, broken, हरी मिर्च
1 tbsp Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता
2-3 tbsp Olive oil, जैतून का तेल
½ Cheese block, grated, चीज
2 tbsp Mayonnaise, मेयोनेज़
1 tsp Black pepper powder, काली मिर्च पाउडर
For Garnish
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Lemon wedge, नींबू
Process
For Marination
- In a large bowl, add chicken cubes, salt to taste, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, vinegar, coriander leaves and ginger garlic paste mix it well.
- Add egg white, cornstarch and mix everything well.
For Coating
- In another bowl, add cornflakes and crumb it well.
- Add bread crumbs and mix it well.
- One by one coat the chicken cubes into the corn flakes crumb properly.
For Frying
- Heat oil in a kadai, once it’s medium hot. Gently slide the pieces one after the other to the oil.
- Fry chicken popcorn in batches.
- Deep fry evenly till golden on medium flame.
- Drain and Keep on an absorbent paper.
- Garnish it with coriander sprig and lemon wedge.
- Serve hot with dip.
For Dip
- In a bowl, add garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, olive oil and blend it with the help of a blender.
- Transfer the mixture into another bowl, add mayonnaise, black pepper and mix it well.
