Restaurant Style Chicken Jalfrezi चिकन जालफ्रेजी बेस्ट रेसिपी spicy Chicken Curry
alfrezi ka asli raaz hai tez aanch aur veggies ka wo perfect crunch. 🌶️ Ye sirf recipe nahi, balki swaad aur technique ki ek khoobsurat kahani hai. Chaliye, milkar banate hain ye restaurant style Chicken Jalfrezi!
Ingredients
For Chicken Marination
600 gms Chicken breast (cut into large size strips), चिकन
1 tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
½ tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 tsp Curd (beaten), दही
For Chicken Jalfrezi
2 tbsp Ghee, घी
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 no. Bay leaf, तेज पत्ता
½ tsp Fennel seeds, सौंफ
½ tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
1 large Onion (finely chopped), प्याज
1 tsp Black peppercorns (crushed), कुटी हुई काली मिर्च
2 large Tomatoes (puree), ताज़ा टमाटर की प्यूरी
½ tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
1 tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
2 tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
Little water, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
Marinated chicken, मैरीनेट किया हुआ चिकन
Little water, पानी
1 ½ tbsp Ghee, घी
1 large Onion (cut into half petals), प्याज
1 tbsp Tender Coriander stems (finely chopped), धनिया के डंठल
2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves (finely chopped), धनिया पत्ता
2 large Capsicum (cut into strips), शिमला मिर्च
2 medium Tomatoes (cut into strips), टमाटर
2-3 tbsp Fresh cream, ताज़ा मलाई
1 tbsp Ghee, घी
For Garnish
Fresh cream, ताज़ा मलाई
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Chicken Marination
- In a bowl, add chicken, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to taste, curd and mix it well.
- Keep it aside to marinate for a while.
For Chicken Jalfrezi
- In a handi, add ghee, oil, once it’s hot, add bay leaf, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, onion and saute until onions are translucent.
- Add crushed black peppercorns and mix it well.
- Add tomato puree, ginger garlic paste and cook it for 4-5 minutes until oil is separated from the masala.
- Add degi red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook it for a minute.
- Add little water, salt to taste and give it a quick boil.
- Add marinated chicken, water, ghee, cover it with a lid and let it cook for a while until cooked well.
- Add onion, tender coriander stems, fresh coriander leaves and give it a good mix.
- Add capsicum, tomatoes and toss it well.
- Finish it with fresh cream, ghee and give it a good mix.
- Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with fresh cream and coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti or naan.
