Stuffed Bell Pepper

Ingredients

3 Bell Peppers (Red, yellow, Green), चिमला मिर्च (लाल, पीला, हरा)

 

For Filling

1 tbsp Oil, तेल

1 Small Onion, chopped, प्याज

1 Green Chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च

¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, हल्दी पाउडर

¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर

½ tsp Cumin Powder, जीरा पाउडर

⅓ cup Fresh Green Peas, boiled, हरा मटर

1 Medium Carrot, small cube & boiled, गाजर

4-5 Medium Size Potato, boiled & mashed, आलू

Salt to Taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ tsp Dry Mango Powder, अमचूर पाउडर

¼ cup Processed Cheese, grated, चीज़

1 tbsp Coriander Leaves, chopped, धनिया

 

Process

For Making Stuffing

  • In a nonstick pan, add oil, onion and saute till translucent.
  • Add green chilli, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and saute well.
  • Add fresh green peas,cube carrot and mashed potato mix everything together.
  • Saute the mixture for 2 mins and then add dry mango powder and salt, coriander leaves, mix will and keep aside to cool.
  • Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and keep aside.

 For stuffed capsicum

  • Pour a small amount of water into the bottom of the baking dish and drizzle the bell peppers with a little oil.
  • Once the mixture is cooled, stuff it in the bell peppers and add the processed cheese on it.
  • Bake at 180*c for 45 minutes. Bake until the peppers are soft and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve Stuffed bell pepper.
