2 tbsp Oil, तेल

1 Star Anise, चकरी फूल

2 Dry Red Chillies, broken in half, सूखी लाल मिर्च

8-10 Cashew Nuts, काजू

1 inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक

1 tbsp Garlic, chopped, लहसुन

2 tbsp Spring Onion, chopped, प्याज पत्ता

¼ cup Carrot, chopped, गाजर

¼ cup Broccoli, small florets, ब्रोकली

¼ cup Cabbage, chopped, पत्ता गोभी

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ tsp Black Pepper Powder, काली मिर्च पाउडर

1 heaped tbsp Madras Curry Powder, मद्रास करी पाउडर

1 tsp Sugar, चीनी

½ tbsp Vinegar, सिरका

1 ½ cups Pre-cooked Rice, पका हुआ चावल


For Garnish

few Spring onion, chopped, प्याज पत्ता


  • In a wok or kadai, add oil, let it heat properly and then add star anise, dry red chilli, let it crackle and then add cashew nut, ginger, garlic saute for a minute.
  • Now, add spring onion, carrot, broccoli, cabbage and saute on high flames for 3-4 minutes.
  • Then add salt to taste, black pepper powder, madras curry powder, sugar, vinegar and mix everything properly and then add the pre-cooked rice.
  • Toss the rice on high flames with light hands and let it cook for 3-4 minutes then serve hot and garnish with spring onion.
