Phodnicha Bhat

Ingredients

2 tbsp Oil, तेल

1 tsp Mustard seeds, राइ

1 tsp Cumin Seeds, जीरा

1 sprig Curry leaves, करि  पता

1 tsp Asafetida, हींग

1 inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक,

2 Garlic cloves, slice, लहसुन

1 large Onion, chopped, प्याज

2 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च

1 tsp Red chilli powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर

½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर

2 tsp Garam masala, गरम मसाला

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 cup Cooked Rice, पके हुए चावल

1 tbsp Lemon juice, नींबू का रस

For Garnish

Fresh Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ती

 

Process

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves let it splutter.
  • Add asafetida, chopped ginger, and garlic saute well.
  • Add onion and saute till translucent.
  • Add green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt to taste and saute everything well.
  • Add cooked rice and mix well so all the spices is coat nicely.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
