Penne Pasta in Arrabiata Sauce

Ingredients

For Boiling Pasta

1 ltr Water (पानी)

1 tsp Salt (नमक)

1 heaped cup Penne Pasta (पेने पास्ता)

1 tsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)

 

For Arrabbiata Sauce

2-3 tbsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)

6-8 cloves Garlic – chopped (लहसुन)

1 medium Onion – chopped (प्याज़)

1 tbsp Chilli Flakes (चिली फ्लेक्स)

1 heaped cup fresh Tomato Puree (ताजे टमाटर की प्यूरी)

¼ medium Red Bell Pepper – cut in diamond shape (लाल शिमला मिर्च)

¼ medium Yellow Bell Pepper- cut in diamond shape (पीला शिमला मिर्च)

¼ medium Green Bell Pepper – cut in diamond shape (हरा शिमला मिर्च )

Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)

¼ cup Cheese – grated (चीज़)

 

For Garnish

Fresh Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्ता)

 

Process

For Boiling Pasta

  • In a pot add water, salt, penne pasta and boil it according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Once cooked strain it properly and apply so olive oil and keep aside for further use.

 

For Arrabbiata Sauce

  • In a pan add olive oil, garlic, onion, chilli flakes saute for a minute.
  • Now add the fresh tomato puree and cook it properly.
  • Then add the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, salt and saute for a minute then add the boiled pasta, toss and cook it for 3-4 minutes and finish with fresh coriander leaves and cheese.
  • Remove in a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves.
