Methi Paneer Bhurji

1 ½ tbsp Ghee, घी

1 tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा

1 inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक

2 medium size Onion, chopped, प्याज

1 medium size Tomato, chopped, टमाटर

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादानुसार

Curd Mixture, दही का मिश्रण

¼ cup Water, पानी

1 cup Paneer, crumble, पनीर

1 small Tomato, chopped, टमाटर

2 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च

1 tbsp Butter, मक्खन

1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया  पत्ता


For Curd Mixture

1 cup Curd, beaten, दही

2 cups fresh Fenugreek leaves, chopped, ताजा मेथी के पत्ते

½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर

½ tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

¼ tsp Asafoetida, हींग

1 tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर


For Garnish

Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता

Green chilli, हरी मिर्च



  • In a deep bottom handi, add ghee onces it’s melted and add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add ginger, onion and saute on medium flame until it’s translucent.
  • Add tomato and saute it well.
  • Add curd mixture and saute everything for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add a little water and keep sauteing it.
  • Add crumble paneer and mix everything well.
  • Add tomato, green chilli and mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add butter, coriander leaves mix it well.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves, green chilli.
  • serve hot with paratha.


For Curd Mixture

  • In a bowl, add curd, fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, degi red chilli powder.
  • Add asafoetida, coriander powder and mix it well.
