Malai chicken

Ingredients

3 tbsp Ghee / घी

2 black Cardamom / काली इलाइची

1 Green cardamom  / हरी इलायची

1/2 tsp Cumin seeds / जीरा

1 kg Chicken, curry cuts / चिकन

Salt to taste / नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tbsp Ginger, chopped / अदरक

1/2 tbsp Coriander powder / धनिया पाउडर

21/2 cup milk / दूध

3 tbsp Almond paste / बादाम का पेस्ट

1 tbsp black pepper powder / काली मिर्च पाउडर

1/4 tsp Kasuri methi / कसूरी मेथी

1/4 tsp Cardamom powder / इलायची पाउडर

1 tbsp Cream / मलाई

For tempering

1 tbsp Ghee / घी

1 tsp Degi mirch / डेगी मिरच

Process

  • In a large kadai, add ghee once its hot add black cardamom, green cardamom and cumin seeds mix well.
  • Add chicken and salt to taste saute well.
  • Add ginger, coriander powder and saute till the chicken is tender.
  • Add milk, almond paste and cook till the chicken is soft . Once the chicken is done, Add black pepper powder and kasuri methi and cream.
  • For tempering
  • In a pan, add ghee and degi mirch.
  • Garnish with coriander spring. Serve hot.
