Kosha Mansho Bengali Mutton Curry

Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 25-30 minutes | Servings: 2

Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp cumin seeds

3-4 cloves

1 bayleaf

1 cinnamon stick

1 medium onion chopped

1inch ginger chopped

5-6 garlic cloves, chopped

500gm mutton boneless

1 tsp red chili powder

¼ tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp coriander powder

Salt to taste

¼ cup curd

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, whole spices, onion, ginger and garlic. Sauté lightly.
  • Now add the mutton and sear it.
  • Then add the powdered spices, little water and cook the masalas.
  • Add dahi and water , cover and cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • Remove the lid adjust consistency and seasoning.
  • Serve hot.
