Jain Paneer Fried Rice

Ingredients

2 tbsp Oil / तेल

100 gms paneer, cut in cubes / पनीर

1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped (optional)/ अदरक

½ tbsp celery, finely chopped / सेलेरी

1  green chilli, finely chopped / हरी मिर्च

1 fresh red chilli, finely chopped / ताज़ी लाल मिर्च

¼ cup green beans, chopped / ग्रीन बीन्स

½ cup mixed bell peppers, finely chopped (red, yellow, green) / मिक्स्ड शिमला मिर्च

¼ cup cauliflower, small florets / गोभी

2 ½ cups rice, cooked / चावल

½ tbsp red chilli sauce / रेड चिल्ली सॉस

½ tbsp green chilli sauce / ग्रीन चिल्ली सॉस

½ tsp soy sauce / सोय सॉस

¼ tsp vinegar / सिरका

1 tsp white pepper powder / सफ़ेद मिर्च पाउडर

Salt to taste / नमक

Process

  • Heat oil in a deep bottomed non-stick kadai, saute paneer cubes till golden brown and set aside till in use.
  • Add ginger and celery to the same, saute till fragrant.
  • Add green and red chilli, saute till fragrant.
  • Add vegetables, saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked rice and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and white pepper powder. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Serve hot.
