Italian Sabudana Vada

Ingredients

1 cup Sabudana, Soaked, साबूदाना

2 Potatoes, Boiled & mashed, आलू

½ cup Peanuts, roasted & crushed, मूंगफली

1 tsp Cumin Seeds  जीरा

1 Green Chilli, finely chopped, हरी मिर्च

2 tbsp Coriander, finely chopped, धनिया

½ tsp Salt to Taste, नमक स्वादानुसार

1 tsp Lemon Juice, नींबू का रस

Oil for Frying, तेल

 

For Filling

2 tbsp Oil, तेल

1 cup Spaghetti, स्पेगेटी

2 -3 Garlic Cloves, chopped, लहसुन

¾ cup Fresh Tomato Puree, टमाटर प्यूरी

1 tsp Oregano, ऑरेगैनो

1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes, चिल्ली फ्लक्स

¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese, cubes, मोजेरेला चीज़

 

 

Process

  • Firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup sabudana and soak with enough water for 3 hours.
  • Drain off the water and rest for 30 minutes, allowing to drain off the water completely.
  • Now take the soaked sabudana in a large bowl.
  • Add potato and peanut mix well.
  • Add cumin seeds, chilli, coriander and salt.
  • Mix and mash well with your hand and keep it aside.

For Filling

  • In a pan, add oil, garlic saute well.
  • Add tomato puree, oregano, red chilli flakes and mix well.
  • Add spaghetti and toss well.
  • Take 1 tbsp vada mixture and make it flat like a ball.
