Gosht Beliraam

Prep: 10 minutes ( + marination time) | Cook: 40 minutes | Servings: 2

Ingredients

For Marination

500 gms Mutton, curry cut

2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

1 cup Yogurt

Salt to taste

Coriander Seeds

2 tbsp Red Chilli powder

For Gravy

1 tbsp Oil

2 Onions, sliced

Marinated Mutton

1 tbsp Coriander powder

1 tbsp Cumin powder

½ tsp Turmeric powder

1 tbsp Red Chilli powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste

1 cup Yogurt

3 cups Lamb Stock

Coriander seeds

Chilli flakes

Fried onion

Coriander leaves

Method

  • In a bowl, add mutton, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, salt, coriander seeds, red chilli powder and rub the marination properly, keep aside for further use.
  • In a pan, add oil and onions, cook until they turn brown in colour.
  • Then add the marinated mutton and cook until it releases the moisture.
  • Now add all the spices and give them a good mix.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and yogurt and cook moisture is released.
  • Once done, add lamb stock and cook through on a low flame.
  • Garnish with crushed coriander seeds, chilli flakes, fried onion and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with roti or rice.
