Fish Cakes

Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes | Servings: 4


2 cups Surmai/ Rawas, mince

2 tsp Ginger paste

1 tsp Red chilli, chopped

1 Onion, finely chopped

½ cup Coriander leaves, chopped

1 tbsp Cajun spice powder

¼ cup Corn flour

2 tbsp Refined flour

¼ cup Bread crumbs

Salt to taste

3 tbsp Oil, for frying


  • Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix everything well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Meanwhile make small cakes out of the prepared mixture.
  • Place the prepared cakes on the heated pan and shallow fry on both the sides till nice golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and serve hot along with chutney.
