Egg Fried Rice


1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp ginger, chopped

1 tbsp garlic, chopped

2 green chillies, chopped

3 eggs, beaten

2 cups rice, cooked

2 tsps soy sauce

Salt to taste

1 tsp vinegar

White pepper powder to taste

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp spring onion bulbs, chopped

¼ cup spring onion greens, chopped

For Garnish

Spring onions, chopped


  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute till fragrant.
  • Add beaten egg, allow to cook for about a minute and scramble.
  • Add the cooked rice and toss well.
  • Add soy sauce and vinegar, toss well.
  • Add salt, white pepper powder and sugar, mix everything well, allow to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add spring onion bulbs, spring onion greens, toss and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
