Dal Khichdi

Cook: 15 minutes Servings: 2 Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp black pepper
3-4 Cloves
1 stick of cinnamon
1 tbsp garlic chopped
1 medium sized onion chopped
½ cup masoor dal soaked
½ cup moong dal soaked
½ cup rice soaked
Salt to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
½ cup Curd
Water as required
Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker add all the whole spices, garlic, onion sauté on a medium to high flame, then add both the soaked dals and rice.
- Continue to cook and add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Red chili powder cook over low flame and then add curd.
- Put the lid on and cook until 2 to 3 whistles, let the cooker cool down, then serve hot khichdi.
