Cordon Bleu

Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 30 minutes | Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 tbsp Oil

4-5 butter cubes

1 chicken breast

1 chicken ham, cut

½ cup processed cheese, grated

1 tbsp oil

1 medium onion, slices

1 tsp butter

10-12 green beans

Salt to taste

1 tsp red chilli flakes

1 cup vegetable stock

Parsley for garnish

For breading

1 cup refined flour

2 eggs

Salt to taste

½ tsp pepper

1 cup bread crumbs 

Method

  • Take chicken breast, slit the chicken and lightly beat it with the back of your knife or a rolling pin.
  • Stuff it with chicken ham and grated cheese, close it and keep it aside for further use.
  • In another bowl, add refined flour, eggs, salt and pepper, beat it well into a thick batter. In another bowl, add bread crumbs.
  • Heat oil and butter in a pan, coat the chicken with batter and bread crumbs, drop them in the pan and roast on a medium flame till chicken is cooked through.
  • While chicken is cooking, heat oil and butter in another pan, add onion, green beans, salt, chilli flakes and stock, sauté for a minute.
  • Serve hot in a plate and garnish with parsley sprig.
