Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

½ cup sweet potatoes boiled

¼ cup cheese grated

2-3 tbsp coriander chopped

1 green chili chopped

1 tsp aamchur powder

1 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste

7 to 8 button mushrooms, cleaned and stalk removed

¼ cup refined flour

¼ cup bread crumb


  • In a large bowl add sweet potatoes, cheese, coriander, green chili, aamchur powder, red chili powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients using a masher or with a fork.
  • Stuff the cleaned mushrooms with the stuffing. Thread 2 mushrooms on to a small skewer or a tooth pick
  • Make a thick batter using flour, water and salt; dip the mushrooms in the batter, then coat them in bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil in a deep pan.
  • When done rest them on a paper towel and serve hot .
