Cheese Bread Roll

Ingredients

For Bread Roll

8 bread slices/ ब्रेड स्लाइस

2 medium potatoes, boiled & grated/ आलू, उबला और कसा हुआ

100 gms paneer, crumbled/

Salt to taste/ नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tsp red chilli powder/ लाल मिर्च पाउडर

½ tsp chaat masala / चाट मसाला

Crushed black pepper to taste/  काली मिर्च

Coriander leaves, finely chopped/  धनिया

3 green chillies, finely chopped/ हरी मिर्च, बारीक कटी हुई

For Filling

1½ cups  Pizza Cheese, grated/  पिज़्ज़ा चीज़

2 tsp oregano/ ओरेगेनो

1 tsp chilli flakes/ चिल्ली फलैक्स

2 tbsp black olives, pitted and chopped/  ज़ैतून

Other Ingredients

Oil for deep-frying/ तेल

Process

For Bread Roll

  • In a bowl, add potatoes, paneer, salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, crushed black pepper, coriander leaves and green chillies. Mix well till a smooth dough like mixture is formed.
  • Set aside till in use.

 

For Filling

  • Add grated Pizza Cheese to a bowl along with oregano, chilli flakes and black olives. Mix well.
  • Take the potato mixture, fill cheese in between and give it a cylindrical shape. Keep aside till further use.
  • Take the bread, dip it in water, cover the prepared mixture with bread and make an oval shape.
  • Once all are prepared, set them in the refrigerator to cool down for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai, deep-fry the prepared cheese bread rolls till golden brown and crisp.
  • Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup or choice of dip.
