Besan Laddu

Ingredients   

2 cups Ladoo Besan or Besan, बेसन

½ cup Ghee, घी

¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, हल्दी पाउडर

½ cup Cashew nuts, chopped, काजू

1 tsp Cardamom powder, इलायची पाउडर

1 cup Powdered sugar, पिसी चीनी

 

For Garnish

Silver varq, चांदी का वर्ख

Pistachios, slice, पिस्ता

 

Process

  • In a kadai , add besan, roast it for a small time to get rid of the smell.
  • Add turmeric powder to get a better colour.
  • Now, add ghee in besan, and roast it well.
  • Add 1 tsp of ghee for roasting of cashew in the mixture, add chopped cashew
  • Keep the mixture for cooling at room temperature.
  • Now, add cardamom powder and powdered sugar in it and mix it well.
  • Start shaping the ladoos.
  • Once prepared, garnish with silver varq and serve.
